At Chick-fil-A Forsyth, we use “The 3P’s” — Performance, Pay, and Promotion process — to guide our team members toward success. These regular evaluations are designed to provide clear feedback, recognize your contributions, and help you grow both personally and professionally.
Performance reviews occur at the following intervals: 30, 60, and 90 days (Initial Reviews) and then once every 90 days in our 3P meetings (January, April, July, October).
We will alert the team of the date that the 3P meeting will be taking place, its purpose, and expectations. We will include current opportunities for promotion, how to express interest, any prerequisites, and any deadlines.
Below, we outline what each “P” means, how we assess it, and what you can expect from these discussions
Our goal is to give you a clear picture of how you’re doing, celebrate your strengths, and provide actionable guidance on areas for growth. During your Performance discussion, we’ll evaluate how well you embody our Winning Hearts Every Day Strategy. We’ll also assess your Core Competencies, such as teamwork, communication, and attention to detail, as well as your attendance, attitude, and ability to balance your hours with personal needs. You’ll receive specific feedback on behaviors to continue and areas to improve. Together, we’ll set performance expectations for your next 3P’s meeting, ensuring you have a roadmap to succeed and feel confident in your role.
We want you to understand your current compensation and see a clear path for future earnings. In the Pay discussion, we’ll review your current rate of pay, your pay rate history, and any opportunities for a pay increase based on your performance and valuable contributions to the team. Whether you’re aiming for a raise or seeking to take on more responsibility to boost your earnings, we’ll set a specific goal for your pay rate that aligns with your efforts and our business needs. This transparent conversation ensures you know exactly where you stand and what steps to take to achieve your financial goals with us.
We’re committed to helping you grow into a leader, whether that’s in a formal role or by taking on more responsibility. During the Promotion discussion, we’ll assess your potential for advancement by reviewing your initiative and any interest you’ve expressed in roles. If you’re eager to move up, we’ll create a tailored plan of action, such as training in new areas or shadowing a leader, to prepare you for the next step. If promotion isn’t your immediate goal, we’ll provide feedback on how to strengthen your current role and keep future opportunities open. This discussion is about empowering you to shape your career at Chick-fil-A, with clear guidance and support to help you succeed.

You and your supervisor will develop an action plan together. This plan outlines steps and goals to help you enhance your performance and grow within our organization. Please participate in this process and seek guidance whenever you need it.
