The raise to your hourly rate will vary depending on the level of responsibility and work that comes with the specific Area of Focus you are signing up for. It may not seem like a lot initially- but if you do the math on the hours you work across a month, it really adds up!
However, assignments will need to be approved by Leadership and should not be taken lightly. One or two is plenty to get started with!
This may mean getting your responsibilities done during your scheduled shift with approval from a FOH/BOH supervisor, or it may mean coming in slightly early or staying slightly late. If you are completing your Area of Focus responsibilities outside of a regularly scheduled shift, you will be limited to a reasonable amount of time that it has been predetermined your tasks should require.
Chick-fil-A requirements and procedures are the standard. Be certified in Pathway for your Area of Focus and fulfill all requirements to the standard. If for some reason there is not a Pathway standard then one will be developed and posted in that Area of Focus.
For example, if you sign up for Toasters and the Teflon is not cleaned at the end of the week as prescribed in Pathway, you will be held accountable. Failing to meet requirements for your Area of Focus will result in disciplinary action as "poor work ethic" and handled accordingly.
Meaning, you can't choose to not uphold that Area if it becomes inconvenient. You can approach Leadership about changing to a new Area of Focus. We do not want people starting and stopping the program often.
